I'm so pleased to be the October Muse here at Gingersnap Creations. Since this month's theme is Gothic Elements/Halloween, I decided to create a tutorial that showcases 3 of my favorite things: Marie Antoinette, Gothic Arches and of course, Halloween.
Here is the finished piece. This arch has a lot of layers and is approx 4" x 6" on heavy cardboard. Here are the supplies you will need:
Supplies:
4” x 6” Cardboard Gothic Arch
Silver and Black Foil Paper, Large Circle Punch
Spray Adhesive
Hot Glue Gun
Tape Runner
Quick Dry Glue
Small Feather Boa
Chunky Silver Glitter
Silver Waffle Paper
White Ribbon Trim
Image of Marie (Gothic/Witch)
Large White Fabric Leaves
Small Silver Leaves
White and Grey Paper Roses
Black Paper Flower
Black Tulle
Spider Web Stickers
Clear Plastic Flowers
Step 2: With glue gun, attach white trim and feather trim to front of arch. Punch out large circle from silver and black foil paper and attach. Cut out image of Marie and add.
Step 3: With Glue Gun add black flower, large silver glitter dot and silver leaves to top or arch.
Step 4: Using the glue gun attach tulle bow and all trims to bottom left corner: Large White Leaves, Paper Roses, Tulle Bow, Crystals , Owl Charm, Plastic Flowers, etc… Add cob web stickers and finish Marie’s hat with chunky glitter using Quick Dry Glue.
Once the glue is dry you are finished! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and that you will give Marie and Gothic Arches a try.
